18. The Forge: Lemont Quarries Adventure Park

The park, which is more than 300 acres in size and is located close to the Chicago Sanitary & Ship Canal, has climbing towers, climbing walls, and zip lines that are the longest in the tri-state region.
The major attraction is the ten-acre Eight Towers aerial ropes course, which has 299 high ropes segments.
But the park also offers a lot of space for other activities like riding, laser tag, kayaking, canoeing, or pedal boating on the clean quarry lakes.
